An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Certified Gardener to join our supportive and fun Parks Team where you will be provided with excellent training and development opportunities and the ability to work in many beautiful locations throughout our municipality. As Certified Gardener, you will be responsible for the horticultural and infrastructure maintenance of Council’s open space areas including formal gardens of historical significance, extensively developed parks and reserves and natural environment areas.Not only will you have the opportunity to work in a great team environment whilst learning new skills, you will also have access to some fantastic benefits. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and have excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate with members of the public. A current driver’s license and Working with Children Check is essential for this position.
