About the Role:We are excited to have a new opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Tasmania Community Services Team. This new role has come available through extension funding under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme to provide in-home nursing services to aged people in Tasmania South.As a Community Registered Nurse, you will undertake a variety of general nursing duties in our client’s homes across the region, including administering medication, wound management, catheter care, conducting assessments and providing a high level of care to our valued clients.We are eager to find someone who can work with us to build on our amazing nursing services to grow this into the South Tassie region. The role will be offered as a casual position however we will review this as the program progresses.This role will be employed on a casual basis working a minimum of 10 hours per week. We are flexible with days and times. This will form part of our initial discussion as to what works best for you. About You:Minimum of 2 years’ Community Nursing experienceSound clinical knowledge and skillsCurrent registration with AHPRAAbility to work weekendsCurrent CPR certificationCurrent and unrestricted Australian driver licenceYou will be living in or nearby to HobartOur ideal candidate will also demonstrate a genuine desire to support our clients to live their lives to the fullest.
