Great, let’s talk about your new role;We are currently seeking a General Manager Residential Services to lead our Residential Leadership team across our three villages located in Kingscliff, Bangalow and Byron Bay. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for directing clinical care, positive living and support services to our residential clients. All whilst creating a vibrant, friendly and welcoming environment with the level of genuine care and support they need. This is a pivotal role in ensuring we continue to be bold in the delivery of our residential care. Some of your key focuses will be:Lead the delivery of professional and innovative person centred services and quality outcomes in accordance with Feros Care's service framework and model of careDeliver a service culture for staff, volunteers, residents and their families that enables exceptional client experience.Provide clinical leadership and expert advice to facilitate high quality residential services (inclusive of Allied Health and Nursing)Balance the strategic and operational responsibilities to ensure that the village occupancy is at capacity and then monitor, and support activities to maintain occupancyOversee the service operations to maximise funding opportunities through accurate and comprehensive documentation of client care issues and needsMonitor outcomes and activities that ensure we are meeting all Aged Care Standards across all villagesEnsure financial targets are achieved through efficient and effective management of resourcesDevelop positive and productive partnerships with all stakeholders involved in Residential Services including government and non-government agenciesWhat do I need to be successful in this role?We believe our ideal candidate will have a minimum five years Residential Aged Care experience in a leadership and management position. Along with a shared passion for enabling residential clients to live their best life through innovative service design and person centred practices. Some of the key criteria are:Demonstrated achievements in providing strategic and operational leadership of residential aged care facilities that delivered exceptional and innovative customer experience.Demonstrated success in leading and achieving Aged Care Accreditation Standards and maintaining systems and processes to meet the various legislative, compliance and reporting obligations.Developed business acumen and a clear understanding of financial drivers for financial management and sustainability of residential aged care.Demonstrated success in leading, managing and mentoring staff to create a workplace culture that is inclusive, engaging, positive, playful, creative, cohesive and productive.Ability to manage Key Stakeholder relationships in order to achieve our operational and strategic goals (referral agencies, health services, community organisations).Effective verbal and written communication skills, change management, presentation and consultation practices.In return Feros Care are offering you a competitive salary and salary packaging, including a salary sacrificed vehicle.
