About the role:This role will see you working as part of our housekeeping team, delivering a high quality service to our residents. You will support our seniors to live their best life and contribute to an environment of spontaneity, laughter and fun. We are looking for an all-rounder. The primary role will be home maker, (approx. 16 hours per week), with additional hours made up in the kitchen as needed.You can look forward to pets roaming the corridors and laughter escaping from the common areas after dance lessons and graffiti sessions with the residents. What might a day look like for me?:General cleaning, bed making and linen changesAssisting residents at meal timesEngaging with residents, their families and visitorsParticipating in ad-hoc events and activities within the facilityProviding support, companionship, encouragement and banter!Working approx. 16 hours per week with the possibility of additional kitchen shifts to support the hospitality team (if you meet the criteria or have a hospitality background) About you:You have prior cleaning experience within a large scale settingYou are able to work across a 7 day rosterYou have previous experience operating cleaning equipment and using chemicalsYou are willing to undergo a police check and prove that you have the right to work in AustraliaYou are someone who not only takes pride in their work but also loves to make our residents smile.
