If YES, than please read on!About the Role This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for ensuring the residents across our Villages in Byron Bay, Bangalow and Kingscliff are happy and satisfied with their living environment and the hospitality services we provide.Reporting to the General Manager - Residential Services,  you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Food Safety regulations and ensure appropriate standards of service are maintained and you will own the overall responsibility for compliance with accreditation standards in Hospitality Services.A key part of your role will be working with the Head Chef at each Village in the development of menus and offerings which reflect customer demand supporting their nutritional requirements.  You will also ensure our Cleaning and Laundry Service team maintains an exceptional level of cleanliness and that all aspects of hotels services are delivered at a 5 start level. Most importantly, you will ensure our team makes our residents feel at home.You will have the opportunity to actively seek for feedback from our clients and then work with the Care Manager towards actions towards continuous improvement. You will be able to lead projects and create innovative solutions.You will ensure all your team receive a thorough induction and are well supported to success in their new role. You will provide training and coaching as required to ensure all Catering, Cleaning and Laundry staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to shine. You will lead by example in living the Feros values and provide supervision, support, development opportunities and performance reviews with your team members. You value your team's contributions and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds.You have a Certificate III in Hospitality/Commercial Cookery, Trades Certificate Chef Grade 7 and Levels 1, 2 and 3 of Food Safety, including a Food Supervisor Certificate. If you hold a Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment that would be a great plus. You have a passion for sharing knowledge and providing training is one of your thousand tricks.Quality assurance is one of your strengths and you have a sound understanding of accreditation standards. Experience in the health or Aged Care industry is not essential but will put you at the top of the list.You have managed teams and supported them towards success. You are a natural in inspiring and motivating people around you and are seen as a role model.
