Learning Technology Specialist (LMS) – Coolangatta

If you have had experience as a Senior LMS Administrator with responsibility for the implementation, design and maintenance of the LMS and you have dabbled in Instructional Design or have an interest developing your skills in this area, we may have just the role for you.Key Responsibilities:Your primary areas of responsibility will be focused around:The four key areas of Course and Tenant Management, Security and Data Management, Training Administration, Reporting and SupportEnsuring accuracy in creating courses, catalogues, updating course content and develop reports that will give accurate data to the organisationDeveloping and processing audit reports to ensure organisational compliance targets for learning are achievedFollowing up with reporting managers to resolve non-complianceDeveloping and implementing training programs, processes and structure in the Learning Management Systems (we currently use Janison) to support easy user accessEnsure that your client groups are well trained and resolve any gaps in training needs for your clientsLiaising with the IT team to maximise integration of dependent systems including our HRIS and email systemsInvestigate and resolve any data or system inconsistencies or discrepanciesDeveloping learning solutions in line with the strategic intent and purpose and assist with curating appropriate learning content for the organisationEngage with and project manager internal or external designers to develop online learning contentAbout You:To be successful in this role you will possess the following:Cert IV in training and assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)Qualifications in Computer Science and experience within a learning/education environmentDemonstrated experience with administering a Learning Management System (Janison experience would be ideal but please just let us know which one/s you have used)High level IT skills within database management with experience in performing system configurationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build relationships to achieve project and operational goalsAdvanced Excel skills – performing a V-look up and using pivot tables will be a piece of cake for youYou will use your skills in influencing and negotiating to move projects forward and work collaboratively with your SMEs and completing projects to timelinesSound analytical skillsExperience in the development, delivery and evaluation of adult learning solutionsTechnology experience in developing and publishing elearning courses as well as video editing software (current elearning authoring tool is Articulate 360) would be ideal but this may be an area of interest that you would love to developNow, if what we have said excites you then please submit your application to us.
