National Program Manager – Local Area Coordination (LAC)

We are searching for an experienced National Program Manager who can lead the way in providing exceptional support and advice to people with disability. As an expert in the disability sector, the Program Manager will ensure our Local Area Coordinators are skilled and equipped to support the outcomes and goals identified by our participants. This role will guarantee our participants are exercising choice and control, achieving independence and living their best life.What are we offering?Attractive base salarySalary packaging (up to $15,899 per annum tax free)A salary sacrificed vehicle with personal useProfessional and personal developmentPositive team culture where everyone matters and creativity and innovation are embracedTechnology kits including a laptop and smart phoneBeing a part of an award winning, forward thinking and non-traditional companyWork by the beach in Coolangatta, QLDThis position is based in Coolangatta, Qld however for the right candidate, we may consider this role being based in one of our LAC regional offices (Mackay, Townsville, ACT, Northern Adelaide or Barossa).About the RoleReporting into the General Manager – LAC, the Program Manager will play a central role in the delivery of high quality and contractually compliant services to participants in a local community and is accountable for the performance of the service and reporting on service outcomes.  This role will develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the local community where service occurs.Your primary responsibilities will include:Building, fostering and maintaining excellent relationships with key NDIA and Peak Body representatives.Work collaboratively with interdepartmental personnel and the General Manager, LAC to design and develop effective LAC programs reflective of Feros Care and NDIS’ objectives and strategiesContinual review and implementation of innovative and best practices at all times in conjunction with all stakeholders to exceed participant expectationsParticipate in delivery and preparation of tenders/submissions as requiredCreate and update policies and procedures that align with our contractual requirements and ensure services are delivered to NDIS and Feros Care standards.Monitor all LAC operational activities to ensure key performance and target delivery.Ensure accuracy and confidentiality with compliance, and to continuously review process improvement in accordance to Feros Care and NDIS standardsEnsure reporting is accurate and delivered on-time.Provide guidance to Service Area Managers and LACs on all program specific queries.Essential requirements for this role:Comprehensive knowledge of the disability sector and NDIS legislation, frameworks, guidelines and implementation programStrong project management and leadership skills that incorporate strategic planning, innovation and change management principles, methodologies and toolsPrevious experience in managing an external audit or accreditation processesProven ability to develop and maintain strong and effective business relationships with staff, peers and key stakeholders in the local communityDemonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirementsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholdersExperience in budget and financial managementHigh level computer skillsIn depth knowledge of NDIS systems and procedures or the proven ability to learn new systems quickly.Who is Feros Care and why would I want to be a part of the team?
