About You:You hold a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability (Essential)You have previous experience in Personal CareYou are available to work a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon and night shift across a 7 day rosterYou are willing to perform general cleaning dutiesYou are able to work independently with minimal supervision You are passionate about supporting othersYou are willing to undergo a police check and prove that you have the right to work in AustraliaAbout the role:Carrying out plans of care that will encompass the social, emotional and physical needs of our residents.Each day will see you carrying out simple personal care tasks which shall include but not limited to: supervising daily hygiene e.g. assisting with showers or baths, shaving, laying out clothes and assisting with dressing; making beds and tidying rooms; storing clothes and cleaning wardrobes.Setting up, serving and clearing of meals, as well as assisting residents to complete future menu requests.Undertake general cleaning functions to ensure our residents are living in a clean and hygienic environment.Assist and support residents with medication utilising dose administration aids, undertake simple wound dressing and implement continence programs as identified in the Care Plan.About Feros Care:Feros Care is a multi-award winning not-for-profit organisation offering a range of aged, disability and community care services.
