Personal Carer (Community) – Byron Bay, Northern NSW



We are looking for a Community Support Worker (Level 2 Carer) located in the Byron Bay region to undertake a variety of services to our clients in a community setting. Your responsibilities will include: Domestic assistance - all aspects of housework, spring cleaning, laundry, making beds, tidying rooms, storing clothes, cleaning wardrobes, meal preparation, light gardening work and care of indoor plants, domestic maintenance tasks, pet carePersonal assistance - supervision of daily hygiene e.g. supervising showers or baths, personal grooming, washing and drying hair, applying make-up, laying out clothes and dressingSocial and emotional support - assistance with use of phones and computer devices, attending client activitiesTransportation - shopping, medical visits, holiday travel, community connectionsMedication checking, supervision and assistanceRespite for carer/family members                                                                                                                                                                                        About you:You must be passionate about supporting othersYou appreciate that it is the little things that can make someone’s dayYou will hold a minimum Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability/ Individual SupportYou are happy to work approximately 20-30 hours per week and be available to work weekendsYou have a current drivers licence and own a reliable car with current registration and third party personal injury insuranceYou are comfortable travelling in and around the Byron Bay region You may be wondering who is Feros Care and why would I want to work there? We are a not-for-profit, people centred organisation dedicated to supporting people to live their BEST LIFE!
