Project Officer, Local Area Coordination – Coolangatta, QLD



About The Role: The Project Officer, Local Area Coordination will be responsible for providing support to the General Manager Local Area Coordination and the wider Local Area Coordination team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable, natural communicator who thrives on working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Administrate, coordinate and attend project meetings including taking detailed minutes and distributing and following up action itemsProvide support to the General Manager Local Area Coordination including diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and other ad hoc dutiesWork closely with the wider Local Area Coordination team across all regionsAssist in drafting project briefs, project management schedules, project status updates, tenders and budgetsEffectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to clients and the project teamResearch contemporary practices within the scope of the project and provide ideas on how projects can be implemented to meet the desired outcomesActively participate in special projects, initiatives or programsPerform LAC specific planning and attend community engagement events as requiredProof read and edit documents and reports About you:Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting a senior level managerDemonstrated experience coordinating and attending project meetingsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersPrevious high level administrative experienceAn impeccable level of organisation and attention to detailHave a high degree of drive, initiative and motivation with a flexible attitude towards workAbility to deal with multiple and conflicting priorities moving seamlessly between distinct work activities.Willing to travel and be away from home at least 4 days per monthClear and concise communicator, both written and verbalHigh level proficiency with MS Office Programs particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and One Note as well as competency around IT in generalAbility to utilise discretion and maintain confidentialityDesired Attributes:In depth knowledge of Local Area Coordination Services and NDIS or proven ability to learn quicklyAbout Feros CareFeros Care is a multi-award winning not-for-profit organisation offering a range of aged, disability and community care services.
