Feros Care is a charity, founded through the generosity of the community to help people who are vulnerable or might need extra support. Our special volunteers help us do more in our mission to help people live happy healthy connected lives.In this short-term volunteer role, you will help coordinate our More the Merrier Christmas campaign, where we bring Christmas joy to many seniors who may be facing loneliness and isolation at this special time of year. This includes the hand delivery of special hampers and gifts with a social chat, writing and sending Christmas Cards, and making telephone calls on Christmas Day.Your role will be based in our Tweed offices and would include:Co-ordinating contents/ assembling Christmas hampersArranging logistics for the collection and delivery of hampers with our community teamsCo-ordinate the receipt/dispatch of written Christmas CardsDeveloping a roster for Christmas outbound calls (you won’t be expected to make the calls)Helping with other ‘elf’ dutiesTo enjoy and do well in the role, you will need to be comfortable with word, excel, and technology and be great at coordinating others as a team.
