Residential Aged Care Manager – Byron Bay



Feros Care is a vibrant and modern not-for-profit organisation that’s been offering innovative, and leading edge care and support services that focus on creating opportunities for seniors to live their best life in both residential aged care and community care settings.This role is responsible for the day to day operations of Feros Village Byron Bay, made up of 4 cottages each with 10 bedrooms. Leading a team of 30 staff and 15 volunteers whose mission is to create positive care and living environments that foster ability and independence and enable each individual resident to live a full life.Key role responsibilities:Your primary areas of responsibility will be focused around:Day to day operations of the village that is full of laughter, spontaneity, dignity and genuine care. Making our villages a place where residents "come alive"Leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team of staff and volunteers and creating a workplace culture where everyone matters and have the opportunity to reach their best potential.Ensuring the business operations are sound including a key focus on resourcing, occupancy, funding maximisation and efficient and effective systems  Ensuring all governance, compliance, reporting and quality systems are strong and flawlessLeading key technology projects that include e-health and telehealth initiativesPlaying a key role within the residential leadership executive across Feros Care, developing and implementing innovations that will delight our residents and support our staff and volunteers About You:Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Minimum 2 years operational management or service management within Residential Aged Care settingRecent hands on practical clinical experience in nursing careRecent experience with Accreditation and ACFIWell-developed leadership and supervisory skills and demonstrated success in the management and development of a diverse team of staff, contractors and volunteersHigh degree of drive, initiative, motivation and outcome orientation, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting prioritiesDemonstrated passion for aged care and determination to create something newFor more information about this role please see the attached position description.  This is a full time fixed term contract for 3 years.Now, if what we have said excites you then please submit your application to us.
