Senior IT Business Analyst



The primary responsibility of this Senior Business Analyst is to support the delivery of business improvement initiatives through the capture and documentation of requirements, analysis / prioritisation, optimisation and implementation of business processes and supporting system changes.This role will also assist in establishing and maintaining the Business Analyst framework used at Feros Care and assist in coaching the IT Business Analysts to ensure they are following the framework.What’s involved?Assist in establishing and maintaining the Business Analyst framework used at Feros CareProvide assistance and coaching to IT Business Analysts to ensure they are following the established Business Analyst frameworkPerform options analysis across multiple solution options for benefits, implementation cost / financial cost to feed into a business caseConsult with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, issues and opportunities and translate these into actionable prioritised work tasksCollaborate with the Development Team, Product Manager, Project Manager and Application Support personnel to ensure solutions are implemented in a timely and complete mannerLiaise with the Project Leadership Team to ensure an understanding of the scope of the integrated projectsConduct business process mapping, flow charting and prioritisation workshops with multiple business stakeholdersLead requirements workshops to elicit and document the business requirements and own the business requirements once finalised on behalf of the project teamActively seeks out business stakeholders to ensure impacted teams are identified and impacts documented / understoodSupport with test script development Support with acceptance testing and issue managementDevelop end-user training guides in conjunction with subject matter experts (leveraging process flows)Support the project team during the Go Live process and Post Go-Live issue managementThe boxes you have to tick:Exceptional skills in modelling software including the MS Office suite and VisioProven expertise and success working on CRM implementations from inception through to implementation in a fast-moving (and changing) environmentUnderstanding of IT Testing principles and processExperience in broad stakeholder management and large-scale organisational change efforts, as well as knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and toolsAbility to use appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to motivate and build relationships across local and virtual teamsDemonstrated ability to effectively present to senior executives, facilitating/obtaining buy-in for desired objectivesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsQualifications, Certificates and Registrations:Certification/accreditation in formal modelling techniques such as BPMN2.0A relevant tertiary qualification in a Computer Science or Business Analysis related disciplineFor bonus points:Previous experience working within the aged and/or community care industryWorking knowledge of customer-led designWorking knowledge of design thinking concepts Position Description 90000 AUD Australia - QLD Gold Coast Coolangatta 4225
