Lords Recreation Centre is a leading provider of health, fitness and organised sport activities in the metropolitan area. We are part of the City of Subiaco and offer excellent training and support and an opportunity to be part of an exciting and dynamic team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to contribute to the effective management and service delivery of Lords Café and our functions/catering section. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Café inclusive of maintaining health standards, monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies and ensuring the provision of excellent customer service. In terms of the Catering function you will be responsible for scheduling catering orders, preparation and delivery for all internal City of Subiaco department events. In addition you will manage both permanent and casual staff members. The requirements for this position include:Sound knowledge of hygiene and health standards in handling food and beveragesDemonstrated well developed supervisory and performance management skillsDemonstrated well developed budgetary skills, including preparation, implementation and monitoring of section budgetsHigh level of organisational ability planning, prioritising and achieving outcomes to deadlinesExperience in developing and implementing strategies to promote and expand service deliveryHighly developed and proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication and influencing skillsAbility to use corporate computer systemsNational police clearance, current "C" class drivers licence and current First Aid CertificateRSA and Approved Managers licence.
