Business Intelligence Analyst, IT



A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst, IT to develop, maintain and deliver Feros Care’s reporting capability. Reporting into the IT Service Delivery Manager, you will focus on converting back-end data into story telling reports – so crisp and confident report writing expertise is key.This varied position will see you work closely with the executive team to support and drive projects within the BI space, as well as assisting with and prioritising ad-hoc inbound requests day to day as required from the business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to mentor and train as we work towards creating a self-service data portal for users. You will assist in upskilling data champions across each of our business units to further streamline our internal processes.The Role: Analyse, design, develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using modern BI Tools (SSRS, Power BI, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory)Transform raw data into meaningful and useful information for business purposesInvestigate and make recommendations on emerging trends in Business Intelligence and associated innovationsDevelop and manage reporting tools and dashboards for process monitoring and holistic decision makingAbout you: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant tertiary experienceMinimum 2 years’ experience building/producing reports inside of SSRS/PowerBIDemonstrated working experience with Business Intelligence data warehouses having used modern Microsoft analytic tools including PowerBI, Azure Data Factory and SSRS.  Experience with SSIS an advantageDemonstrated experience and understanding of systems analysis and quality assurance within a data warehouse environmentExcellent verbal and written communications skills with a customer service and client focusSuperstar stakeholder engagement skills and the ability build relationships at all levelsPrevious experience working within the Aged/Community Care sector (highly regarded)This a full time position, offered on a 12 month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension), based at our head office in Coolangatta, QLD.  You will be joining an inclusive team who value flexibility and encourage work/life balance (lunch break ocean swim, or utilize our employee benefits for a free gym session)The Benefits:Feros Care offers some fantastic employee benefits, including generous Salary Packaging (up to the value of $15,900 per annum) and up to $2650 per annum on meal and entertainment packaging.
