Our new Care Manager will oversee the day-to day operational management and delivery of our clinical, care, hospitality, positive living and support services to our residential clients, ensuring our service delivery provides exceptional customer experience, achieves resident outcomes and meet service expectations.The Care Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Feros Village Bangalow. Located in the hinterland region just 15 minutes from Byron Bay.  Set in beautifully maintained gardens with walking paths and expansive views, the Village is home to 64 residents and a number of lovable pets.Some of your key focuses will be: Facilities Management, Resident Centred Care,  Clinical Management, ACFI Management, Positive Living, Hotel Services, Documentation, Quality & Compliance, Quality & Continuous Improvement, Team DevelopmentLeading multi-disciplinary teamsManaging village occupancy and ensuring that budgets, resourcing and rosters are managed in line with occupancy rateCoordinating new residents moving into the villageFacilitating and coordinating care delivery in accordance with residents' individual care plans, model of care, organisational policy, procedures and duty guidelinesManaging and reviewing the completion of all initial admission and base line assessments/documentation for all residents, including the residents care plansMaintenance and updating of the ACFI schedule including initial assessments and reassessment as per Government directed business rules and alterations in residents' conditions in order to maximise fundingWorking collaboratively with the hotel services/operations lead to ensure catering and cleaning services are of a high standard and meeting the residents needsMaintaining appropriate documentation according to legislative, accreditation, funding requirements and organisational policies and proceduresManagement of recruitment, orientation, mentoring and supervision, performance management, and professional development of the workforceWhat do I need to be successful in this role?Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years Residential Aged Care experience and a minimum of three years’ experience in people leadership and management (potentially as a Senior RN).Demonstrated knowledge in ACFI assessments and lodgement, with expertise in the Aged Care Accreditation StandardsDemonstrated experience of leading care, clinical and/or multi-disciplinary teamsDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of Work Health & Safety, Injury Management and Risk Management principles, practices and legislationDemonstrated ability to identify, rate and prioritise complex problems and issues, generate solutions and refer follow up priority issues to specialist work units/staff or other agenciesTertiary qualification in a Nursing/ Health discipline and/or BusinessCurrent AHPRA registration Who are Feros Care?We are a multi-award winning not-for-profit organisation offering a range of aged, disability and community care services.
