HR Assistant



Come and join our award-winning People Services Team! We are seeking an HR guru who is able to juggle competing priorities in order to support a team of Recruitment and HR Advisors. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will work collaboratively with the team and provide support, coordination, and administration to deliver on a range of HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle changes. Working across a varied client group, you will have the opportunity to further develop your HR skills and knowledge within a supportive and close-knit team.What will I be doing?Provide general administration and support to the People Services team on a range of operational mattersProvide administration support for onboarding of new employees, employment changes, creating ID badges, orientation preparation, system administration, documentation and record keepingLiaise with Recruitment Advisor and candidates to arrange interview dates, phone screen and conduct reference checksManage the People Services email inbox inquiries to ensure timely and accurate response, and  escalate as required Undertake background and compliance checks under the guidance of the HR Advisor and Recruitment AdvisorsAdminister exit surveysWhat do I need to have?Proven minimum experience of 1 year in an HR Assistant or similar roleDemonstrated ability to maintain strong and professional relationships and provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholdersDemonstrated resilience when under pressure and the ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesSuperior organisational skills with a high degree of drive, initiative, outcome orientation and confidentialityFriendly and cheerful demeanour and strong ethos towards collaborative teamworkDemonstrated advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and a knack for understanding multiple computer systemsUnrestricted Australian drivers’ licenceRight to work in AustraliaPolice Check/Mandatory VaccinationsDesirable:Qualification in HR or working towardsExperience in a Health and/or Aged Care environmentThis is a full time position on a 12 month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension) About us:We want our team to be made up of people from all walks of life. Feros Care would not be where we are today without the unique make up of Game Changers, Dream Makers and Vibrant Creators that help us to thrive every day.
