Payroll Officer



Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for a new challenge within a growing, fast paced company? We are seeking a Payroll superstar to join the Feros Care team based in Coolangatta. Working as part of a small team, your role will be to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of the organisations payroll and salary packaging functions in accordance with legislative requirements and internal policies and procedures. Currently we process pay for approximately 950 team members on a fortnightly basis, so your ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment will be very advantageous. The role:Ensure the timely and accurate processing of the fortnightly end to end payroll for all Team Members Respond to and resolve payroll enquiries in an accurate, courteous, and timely mannerCalculate and process payroll adjustments, manual back pays, terminations, and change of detail requests Process monthly Superannuation, TFN deceleration uploads, and end-of-month reportsMaintain up to date knowledge of current Enterprise Agreements and relevant awardsAbout you:Minimum 1 year experience in end to end payroll Previous experience working with and interpreting multiple EBA's and Award'sUnderstands the importance of confidentially whilst working in a high pressure environmentA problem solver and logical thinker - you have the ability to think outside the boxPro-active and self motivated in your approach and open to change and adapting to new processes and techniques  Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to support you build positive relationship with stakeholders at all levelsPrevious experience working with TechOne is highly advantageous, as is experience working in an Aged Care / Health industry, or non-for-profit setting is highly desirable The Benefits:Feros Care offers some fantastic employee benefits, including generous Salary Packaging (up to the value of $15,900 per annum) and up to $2650 per annum on meal and entertainment packaging.
