Team Leader – Bangalow Village

After all – life is too short to not have FUN.We are seeking a Positive Living Associate Team Leader to join our residential village in Bangalow. This role will have an emphasis on your ability to lead, support and direct staff including any Return To Work individuals. What you’ll be up to:Personal Care & Domestic Duties in our 64 bed facilityOverseeing the completion of tasks by Grade 1 (entry) & 2 (Cert III) Care Service employeesProviding education and training including ongoing education, compliance and addressing performance gaps as requiredResponding to emergency situations using first aid skills whilst working within the scope of responsibilitiesUndertaking client documentationReport and document changes in client care and or service requirements.Reporting incidents The boxes you have to tick:Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or other relevant qualification (Cert IV or Diploma of Nursing highly regarded) Relevant certification/qualification for Administering of Medication competencyCurrent Senior First Aid CertificatePrevious experience in leading or managing service delivery team/sDemonstrated ability to manage, lead and develop teams through feedback, guidance and safe work practicesYou are available to work a variety of shifts, ideally across 5 days a week. Mornings and evenings. No nights!
