Feros Care is proud to work in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to deliver Local Area Coordination Services in Northern Adelaide, Barossa, Mackay, Townsville and ACT. About the role: Our team of Local Area Coordinators (LACs) are the heartbeat of the NDIA in their local community, working with people with disability and their families to access and navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Our work is varied and diverse, sees us connecting with people from all walks of life, and is never short on the high-five opportunities. The LAC Community Development Coordinator (CDC) plays a pivotal role in engaging with people living with disability, their families, carers, and the broader community to increase awareness and remove barriers to employment and volunteering opportunities. The CDC will routinely facilitate and implement a range of innovative capacity building employment activities that will support and assist people living with a disability and enable them to link into supported and mainstream employment and/or volunteering opportunities.
